About me

Hi, I’m Shimi Moshkoviz, a Certified Dog Trainer and a graduate of the CATCH Canine Training Academy. I specialize in positive, reward-based training that helps families build trust, communication, and confidence with their dogs.

Along with my formal education, I bring extensive hands-on experience from shelters and rescue environments. I have worked with dogs that struggle with fear, anxiety, reactivity, overexcitement, and other behavior challenges. This experience allows me to assess behavior, identify the root causes, and create clear training plans that work in real life, not just in a classroom.

My journey in dog training began when I rescued a puppy from the meat trade in China. At the time, I had no knowledge or guidance. I made mistakes and struggled to help him. That experience shaped my mission and mindset. I am committed to helping dog owners learn the right way, so they never feel lost or overwhelmed the way I once did.

I follow modern, humane, science-based training methods. I do not use or recommend choke collars, prong collars, shock or e-collars, intimidation, physical corrections, “alpha” or dominance tactics, or any method that causes fear or pain. Training should build trust. It should create clarity. It should strengthen the bond, not damage it.

My goal is simple. I want you to feel confident. I want your dog to feel understood. I want training to feel like teamwork. Together, we will build skills, improve behavior, and make daily life easier and happier for both you and your best friend.

Training should be something you enjoy.
Training should feel like progress.
Training should be fun.

Let’s start building that together.
